Mobile Messaging Service Delivery Platform 

Teleios MessageCentral is a Mobile Messaging Service Delivery Platform (MMSDP) that allows mobile network operators to enable a multiplicity of value added mobile messaging-based services and applications while maintaining full control over all network access and traffic.

The MessageCentral MMSDP supports a number of reliability features focused on SMS processing and delivery:  

• Guaranteed inbound message processing by SMS Applications.
  MessageCentral ensures that all messages received get routed to the relevant application. If the application or the SMPP connection goes down, messages are stored until they can be sent on to their destination.

• Configurable outgoing SMPP traffic throttling.
  MessageCentral administrators can control the message volume and throughput on each SMS application and SMPP connection.

• Automatic retries for failed outbound SMPP messages.
  MessageCentral will automatically manage re-tries for failed deliveries.

• Automatic SMPP reconnection logic for high system uptime.
  If the SMPP connection goes down at anytime, MessageCentral will automatically manage connection retires based on an administrator configured retry profile.

• Configurable email alerting for system events.
  All system events including SMPP connection and application issues can be delivered to system administrators via e-mail and SMS.

• Real time Interactive SMS Application swapping and patching capability.
  SMS applications can be brought on and offline without requiring a Platform re-start. Applications can be changed even while in use since the Platform will store messages until the application is back online.
