Teleios facilitates SMS donations for charity

Nine year old Hannah Lendor who was diagnosed with advanced Liver Cirrhosis earlier this year will have a chance at a new lease on life due to an outpouring of generosity from the citizens of Trinidad and Tobago. Following the highlight of her need to undergo a life saving liver transplant, members of the public gave SMS donations towards the target $1.3 million dollars needed for surgery in Argentina.

Teleios Systems along with mobile carrier bmobile and Caribbean Communications Network media group partnered to facilitate donations to be made via SMS with all proceeds going to the Hannah Lendor fund.
Members of the public were able to text as many times as they wish to donate $10 from each SMS to the cause. Teleios offered message processing services at no cost while the CCN Group handled the marketing and promotion of the donation drive.
